If you appear in a broadcast

We film temple and church festivals, weddings, funerals, tournaments and cultural events. People in the crowd and in the ceremony are visible in the stream and in the replay we keep afterwards. If you are one of them and you would rather not be, tell us and we will take the recording down or cut the part you are in. We do not ask you to justify the request.

We can also stream an event unlisted, so it never appears on this site or in search results and only the people you share the link with can watch. If you are booking a funeral or a private ceremony, ask for this — it is the default we recommend.

Replays live on our YouTube channel and on Vimeo as well as here, so a takedown means removing it from those too. We do that as part of the same request.

What we collect when you browse

We use Google Analytics to count how many people visit, which events they look at, and how many tap through to contact us. It records the pages you open, those taps, your rough location from your IP address, and your device and browser type. Google processes this for us and we keep it for 14 months.

Analytics runs without consent storage, so it does not put any tracking cookie on your device and we cannot recognise you across visits. The figures we see are counts, not people. That is deliberate — it is enough to know whether the site is working, and we would rather not build a profile of you to find out.

We do not advertise on this site, we do not sell or share your data, and we do not use it to try to identify you.

Video players and thumbnails

Watch pages embed the player from whichever platform hosts the stream. We use YouTube's no-cookie player, which does not set cookies until you press play. Vimeo's player does set a cookie of its own when it loads. Event thumbnails are images served by Google, which means Google sees your IP address when a page with thumbnails loads.

Once you start a video, that platform's own privacy terms apply to what it records about your viewing.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies for analytics or advertising. The only cookies it can set are for our own staff signing in to manage events, and those are never created for a visitor.

When you message us

If you contact us about an event, we keep what you send — your name, your number, the venue and the date — for as long as we need it to quote, film and invoice the job, and afterwards for as long as our accounts require. Messages you send over WhatsApp or Instagram also sit on those services under their own terms.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Ask what data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
• Have inaccurate details corrected
• Ask us to delete your data, or to stop using it
• Object to a broadcast that shows you, or ask for it to be taken down
• Withdraw a permission you gave us earlier, at any time

Message us and we will act on it. If you are not happy with how we handled it, you can complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at cnil.fr.
